24% nerdy, 76% trendy

You Are 24% Nerdy

You're a little nerdy, but no one would ever call you a nerd.
You sometimes get into nerdy things, but only after they've become a part of mainstream culture.
How Nerdy Are You?

im only 24% nerdy? my boyfriend would be so embarrassed.

24/7 weekend people

today,
i completed one of my responsibilities as a citizen of a democratized indonesia.
i took a part in the provisional elections for my dear hometown.
(cough, as much as i usually declare myself as a true jakartian, my house is indeed within the boundaries of banten province)

in other news...
a riot consisting of a large group of civilians, in an angry protest against the loss of their chosen candidate for the provisional elections, ruined the structure of the city hall (where the elections took place) in lombok, indonesia.
i guess that just shows the mentality of indonesians: they are sore losers.

[yesterday]
was a great saturday night. after a long day of following the parents around (Er...), i caught up with my mates and found that an impromptu highschool reunion was taking place in scoops, kebayoran baru. then a number of us continued the night in shisha cafe and ended it in circle k. it was great seeing all of you :)

oh, and happy 16 month anniversary. congrats, within each day you are just setting off another record for me :)

trend-spotting

yeah! i've gotten 2 peeps to move their blog to blogspot. all hail the power of "the trend!"
welcome, patito: patitokahlo.blogspot.com and nomi: utopia-nomi.blogspot.com
in other news,
  • Bush's arrival to the Bogor Presidential Palace (which lasted only uh... 6 hours) did not end in any violence (except if you count the numerous demonstrations, anti-bush protests, and bomb threats, but hey, those are as ordinary today as white rice to an indonesian meal)
  • Mini beijing reunion! yihi =D
(apologize for the big-ass size of the pictures. the internet here is so crappy its hard to resize it :( huhu)

recaps

since the bloody desktop died on me (see, my beloved laptop would never do that to me!), i will have to rewrite this post. DUH!

singapore, 13-16 november
shopping, shopping (orchard road - far east plaza), taking pictures, shopping (little india - mustafa), minimal sightseeing, clubbing (clarke quay - ministry of sound), shopping (orchard road - the heeren), tasting local delicacies (old changkee, es potong, mos burger), crying over chicks on speed, having loads of fun :)
(for more pictures: http://scharahap.multiply.com/photos/album/33)

jakarta, 18 nov- february
day 1: arrival at 7pm WIB. chitchats in McDonalds. more chitchats while awaiting father's arrival from Medan in Afung. Left airport at 11pm. arrived home in Cinere around midnight.
day 2: lazy sunday afternoon. went to mousche salon with father. i got my bangs cut. father and mother loves it. went to prasetya mulya and met tata, audy, jidat, cek, kakek. they hate my haircut. went to pim2; ate in the food court and chilled at coffee bean. bought krispy kremes.
decided i will have to stick with my 'love-it or hate-it' bangs until it grows out.
apparantly the cosmos is making it difficult for me to upload a picture of my new bangs. sorry then, til next time :P

c'était mon anniversaire

(@ Lecka-lecka, Bukit Bintang)

birthdays are so overrated.
so today (Nov. 04) I turned 19 (the big one-nine, the final year before reaching adulthood)
yet after reaching a certain age, you start to lose that giddiness of being older, a special feeling of having a special day and of course, lesser presents. You wait the whole year for this one day, but once the day arrives, you are just confused on what to do. It seems irrelevant to hold parties anymore, and yet everyone you know just keeps on pestering you.
aah, birthdays.
